Welcome to the official T.C.A.A. Gaming website! We are one of the largest gaming communities in the United States and worldwide for Counter-Strike 1.6! We have one of the largest Steam groups and also some of the most popular modded and non-modded servers in the nation!

We currently have 8 public servers, mostly paid for by people who donate and buy admin! Most of our public servers are ranked highly in the mod they have for Counter-Strike 1.6. Our two GunGame servers are ranked both the #1 and #2 GunGame servers in the nation, with the #1 also being the #1 ranked GunGame in the world. Our Death Match is ranked the #1 Death Match server in the world. Our zombie server is ranked the #1 CS 1.6 zombie server in the world. The Fun Maps server is ranked the #1 fun map server in the nation. The PokeMod server is the #2 PokeMod in the nation. While our 24/7 Dust2 server is the 5th most popular Dust2 server in the nation.*

Our Steam Group is also popular. We have over 5,200 Steam Group members, making it one of the top 100 largest Steam Groups out of 377,000 groups!

The gaming community may be large, but the clan is small. The clan is what runs the gaming community and is restricted to only 10 members. As a result, admissions into the clan is really selective.

Hack Attempts 11/10/08
There has been a report of a phishing website that looks exactly like our website and asks for your Steam account information. The website claims that by entering your information in, you will be able to get free admin on all of our servers.

However, this is just a scam by some unknown hacker. We will never ask for your Steam account information. Do not be fooled. You could loose your Steam account and all your games! In addition, admin is not given out based on a Steam account login.

Other hack attempts include e-mails from "members" of the clan. The e-mails simply say "Please give us your account info or you will be banned from our servers."

First, bans do not rely on your Steam account information. Furthermore, none of our members are allowed to send out such e-mails. To protect yourself from fraudulent e-mails, check the e-mail address. If the e-mail address does not end with an @TCAAGaming.com, then it is fake. Please forward all fraudulent e-mails to Report@TCAAGaming.com.

More Server Problems 11/6/08
If you play on our servers, you will know that several servers are either empty, only half full, or constantly crash. Several server errors have been popping up recently. The errors are not related to the recent mandatory Steam update. Instead, it's just a whole bunch of misfortunes that have coincidentally occurred at the same time. For example, our NON-STEAM CS Pub Server is currently down because the server hosting company's New York database crashed. Our GunGame Death Match has been empty for the past few days because a recent server coding modification has been kicking players off it. While our NON-STEAM Death Match and NON-STEAM Fun Maps is down due to power failure.

Non-Steam Fun Maps/CUSTOM CS 10/26/08
We have been able to restore the Fun Maps/CUSTOM CS server since the glitch ridden Steam update.

Server Problems 10/22/08
We've been getting a lot of complaints about how people can't connect onto any of our servers. We are aware of this problem. But there is nothing we can do.

The problem is because of the new mandatory game update put out by Steam. If you are experiencing problems, you will have to wait for the game makers to release a fixed version of CS 1.6.

Please note (if you haven't already) that 3/4ths of all CS 1.6 servers in the world are down or are continually crashing. It's not just our servers.

USG Zombie Plague 9/20/08
USG Zombie Plauge's IP, once the 2nd most popular ZM IP server in the United States, has just been bought by T.C.A.A.! 100% of the purchase price was paid for from donations and from admin sales! Everyone enjoy USG Zombie Infection, IP: 208.122.57.110:27015! The server is expected to be up by 12:01 A.M. 9/21/08!

Web Browser Compatibility 8/20/08
We've tested the top 5 most popular web browsers for compatibility with this website.

3 of them can process this website perfectly (Safari, FireFox, Opera) unless they are outdated versions which cannot process our flash player banner.

Flock Web Browser was able to function almost perfectly, except that every time you clicked a link that opens up in a new window/tab, it would ask you if you wanted to open it or it would just block it. This is because Flock is sensing the links as a potential pop up. But this can easily be avoided by using the vertical nav bar or by disabling the pop up blocker for this website.

Internet Explorer has the same problem as Flock, but in addition, Internet Explorer cannot seem to keep the template aligned. Occasionally it would move the vertical nav bar over onto the main center page. But this can be fixed by simply pressing "refresh".

As with all web pages that use Flash Player, you will encounter the exact same problems with the web browsers mentioned above.

Forums 8/15/08
Our new and improved forum is up! This forum includes many more features than our last forum. But we were unable to transfer all the 2,100 posts that you guys made or your accounts. We are starting fresh with our new forums. Make sure you register and start posting to help get back our 2,100 posts (because without them the forum looks empty :P).
